By accessing or using Qontra, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DGZ Games.

If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You must be at least 15 years of age to use Qontra. Users between the ages of 15 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent. By using the App, you represent that you meet these age requirements.

An account is required to participate in debates. You may register using an email address and password, or by signing in with your Google account via Google Sign-In. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@dgzgames.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Qontra is available where permitted by law. It is your responsibility to ensure your use complies with local laws and regulations.

Qontra is a platform for debate and discussion. You agree to engage in a manner that upholds the integrity of discourse. Specifically, you agree to:

• Engage in good-faith debate with substantive arguments.
• Respect the pseudonymous nature of the platform — do not attempt to identify or "dox" other users.
• Not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the platform.
• Not attempt to manipulate debate outcomes through coordinated inauthentic behavior.
• Not circumvent any technical measures in the App.
• Not use the App to facilitate illegal activity of any kind.

Qontra's pseudonymous design protects user identity; it does not shield harmful behavior. Anonymity is a feature, not a license.

Qontra and all related content — including the app design, source code, logo, graphics, and UX — are the exclusive intellectual property of DGZ Games, protected under applicable copyright and trademark law.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

Any debate arguments, rebuttals, votes, or other content you generate within Qontra ("User Content") remain yours. User Content is stored in Firebase Firestore and associated with your topic handle, not your account email.

By submitting User Content, you grant DGZ Games a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and transmit that content within the App as necessary to provide the debate service. This license does not extend to advertising, sale, or redistribution of your content outside the App.

You also grant other participants in the same debate a limited license to view and respond to your User Content within the context of that debate.

You represent that you own or have the rights to submit any User Content you post, and that your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.

Qontra is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. DGZ Games does not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Any defects will be corrected.
• The App is free of viruses or other harmful components.
• User Content on the platform is accurate, complete, or appropriate.

Debate content is generated by users. DGZ Games does not endorse or take responsibility for the views expressed by users within the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DGZ Games and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

In no event shall DGZ Games' total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of the App exceed the amount you paid DGZ Games (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

DGZ Games may restrict or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, with or without notice, including for violations of these Terms. Termination of your account will revoke access to the App and may result in deletion of your Firebase Auth credentials and associated Firestore data.

You may delete your account by contacting support@dgzgames.com or, where available, through the in-app account settings. You may also stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it; locally cached data will be deleted per Android's standard app removal behavior.

Provisions of these Terms that, by their nature, should survive termination will do so, including Sections 5, 7, 8, and 10.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Texas.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top and provide an in-app notification for material changes. Your continued use of Qontra after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
