Qontra collects the minimum information necessary to operate a secure, pseudonymous debate platform. Here is what we collect and why:

We do not collect real names, profile photos, phone numbers, date of birth, location data, or any demographic information.

Qontra uses Firebase Authentication (a Google service) to manage user accounts. When you create an account or sign in, your credentials are processed and stored by Firebase on Google-operated servers.

Firebase Auth stores the following on your behalf:

• Your email address (for email/password accounts).
• A hashed representation of your password (never stored in plain text).
• A unique Firebase UID linked to your account.
• Account creation and last sign-in timestamps.

Firebase Authentication is governed by Google's Firebase Privacy Policy in addition to this policy. DGZ Games does not have access to your raw password at any time.

As an alternative to email/password, you may sign in using your Google account via Google Sign-In. When you do:

• Google authenticates you and issues an ID token to Qontra.
• Firebase Auth validates that token and creates or retrieves your Qontra account using your Google email as the identifier.
• Qontra receives your Google email address and Firebase UID — no additional Google profile data (display name, profile picture, contacts, etc.) is requested or stored by Qontra.

Your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Your email address and Firebase UID are never shown to other users. All public-facing participation in Qontra — arguments, rebuttals, votes — appears under your topic handle.

• Each topic handle is an 8-character random alphanumeric code (e.g., X7KM3QPR).
• A new handle is assigned for each debate topic — you cannot reuse a handle across topics.
• Your handle for one topic cannot be traced back to your handle in any other topic.
• Internally, handles are linked to your Firebase UID so that your debate history is preserved under your account. This mapping is never exposed to other users or used for public identification.

This system ensures that even if debate content is observed by others, it cannot be linked to your identity or to your other debates.

The arguments, rebuttals, and votes you submit in debates are associated with your topic handle, not your account identity. Debate content is used to:

• Display the debate to participants and viewers within the App.
• Maintain debate state (opening, rebuttal, final defense, voting).
• Record debate outcomes under your topic handle.

Debate content is stored in Firebase Firestore (Google's cloud database) and processed on Google-operated servers. This data is subject to Google's Firebase data processing terms.

DGZ Games does not sell debate content or use it to build advertising profiles. Debate content may be reviewed by DGZ Games if reported for a Terms of Service violation.

To maintain and improve app quality, Qontra may use anonymized crash reporting and aggregate analytics. If used:

• Crash reports contain only technical information (device model, OS version, stack trace) and no account data.
• Aggregate analytics measure general usage patterns and are not linked to individual user accounts or handles.
• No analytics service receives debate content, topic handles, or your email address.

You may opt out of analytics in the app's Settings → Privacy menu.

Qontra integrates the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

We do not integrate advertising SDKs, social media tracking, or any service that creates cross-app advertising profiles. We do not sell data to third parties.

Qontra is not directed at children under the age of 15. Because the App requires an account with an email address, and account creation involves Firebase Auth, we do not knowingly permit children under 15 to register.

If you believe a child under 15 has created an account, please contact us at privacy@dgzgames.com and we will delete the account promptly.

Users between 15 and 18 should review this policy with a parent or guardian.

You have the following rights over your data:

• Account deletion — Contact privacy@dgzgames.com to request deletion of your Firebase Auth account and associated Firestore data.
• Data access — Request a summary of data held about your account by contacting us.
• Password reset — Available in-app on the login screen (email/password accounts only).
• Google account revocation — If you used Google Sign-In, you can revoke Qontra's access via your Google Account settings.
• Analytics opt-out — Toggle off in Settings → Privacy.

Residents of the EU (GDPR) and California (CCPA) may have additional rights. Contact us at the address below to exercise them.

For privacy questions, data requests, or account deletion:

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date and provide an in-app notification for material changes. Continued use of Qontra after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
